Unladylike is an East St. Louis hip hop duo that formed when they were in high school. They were given their name by a friend, referencing their aggressive lyrics. They performed shows locally before driving to New York to participate in a talent search, catching the attention of Sita Lewis and Ty Fyffe, who signed them to Def Jam to release their debut album Certified in 2009. The group has yet to release a follow-up.
