Yung-Ro was born in St. Louis and began his rap career in high school, releasing his first single "Donk Dat" in 2009 to some chart success, peaking at #3 on the Billboard Hot Hip Hop/R&B Single Sales chart. He has since put out several albums, forming his own label Black Pearl Entertainment, and collaborating with St. Louis stars such as Chingy and City Spud and producers Tarboy and Trak Starz.
