116 Clique is a Christian hip hop collective that was formed in Dallas, TX, and signed to famous Christian label Reach Records. The group consists mostly of Reach artists, but artists from other labels and from outside Dallas have been members. Their name refers to Romans 1:16 from the Bible, which reads: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile." The group says the name refers to their acknowledgement of the power of the Gospel and their divine calling to spread the gospel and glorify God.

They released their debut album, The Compilation Album, in 2005, with the lineup consisting of Json, Lecrae, Sho Baraka, Tedashii, and Thi'sl. The lineup fluctuated on subsequent releases.
